Hey ya'll it's pretty much been a year of occasionally breezing in and out now and I have so so much to tell but that will have to come later. Right now i need to complain about sterek.

As a ship Sterek drags you back into the game every now and then, kicks you in the nads and then leaves you on the side of the road while it drives away laughing. I can't believe it's been doing this to me for 2 years now.

I mean it's kind of my fault really I started watching Teen Wolf back in the early days BECAUSE of the ship and back then there was a bit more to be enjoyed about the show then just the ship. I liked the interactions between Scott and Stiles, I liked the humour, the mystery to all the pitfalls and problems of being a warewolf and what that meant for a teenager but as time went on and sterek throughly evaporated by season 3 so did a lot of what else had intrigued me about it.

I didn't like how it felt like some of the story elements where being reused (derek seemed to go through his storyline twice). The whole 'women always be being evil/a problem/an obstacle/a prize' thing bugged me and once scott had gotten the hang of being a warewolf he sort of stopped being a goofy personable dork and took on more of a 'cool guy' persona and i get that thats character development but guess what? I relate to geeks and dorks who are weird and unpopular and funny. I relate less to peeps who are fit and handsome and popular and get good grades.

Stiles kept me around for a bit but I felt like he was being wasted as a character for a while at the start of season 3 and lost interest all together. I kinda figured if Stiles and Derek ever happened to be in the same room together on screen again for more then 2 seconds I might tune in but until this first ep of season 4 that wasn't really a thing.

But of course I discover this whole Malia ship is a thing and they are pretty much defs gonna get together so whatever the fuck.

Moral of the story being: don't stick with a tv show that you are in %90 because of the ship because odds are it'll end badly.
