I love to keep you guys informed. I found this on wiki this morning, it's probably old news but it made my heart swell

On What A Catch, Donnie:

Pete says this song is the only ballad Fall Out Boy has written so far, and that it "kind of was written to remind me of Patrick, more than anything". Patrick Stump, lead singer/songwriter, in an interview with AbsolutePunk.net, also talked about "What a Catch, Donnie". He said it's "probably one of the most effective songs to me... I was writing off Pete's lyrics, but it's as if I was confessing through them. That's probably my favorite song...". At the Believers Never Die concert in San Jose, California, Pete Wentz stated that the song was about a friend who thought that they were "A piece of trash, and you kept on telling them they were fucking awesome."

I love these boys.

he didnt say it reminded him of patrick... jsut that he had a friend... a very good friend.. who thought he wasnt any good at anything... and how he wished that this friend could see how amazing he truly was because everyone else in the whole world thought so...

then when he was done with his little speech he kind of turned and looked directly at Patrick.. who being patrick looked at the floor and didnt make eye contact <3 i had a hunch it was about patrick

I squealed SOOOO loud when I heard Pete say "kind of was written to remind me of Patrick, more than anything" It was in an NME video on youtube~ But I didn't know that Patrick said that!!!! *SQUEAL* THEIR PETERICK IS SHOWING!!!!! <33333 :DDD

*tears in eyes* That is so LOVELY! and so damn true. Patrick is one in a million, one in a billion. That boys is all kinds of beautiful and this life that he has couldn't have happened to a nicer person, for better or worse he's perfect for this band, for this place. I'm so happy i get to know who he is and see him around every now and then. thank you so so much for elaborating!!!!!!!! i wish they'd said this at my concert.
