Tricky Warholian Paint

I was watching Bounce by The Cab the other day and just loved the whole Patrick being like Andy Warhol thing. I decided that since Dr. Benzedrine worked out so well despite me trying to draw textures I’d never drawn before (shimmery hat and chrome mike) I’d give paint a try as well. I really wanted to get that sense of thick viscosity in the blue paint on his face but unfortunately it didn’t look quite as raised or solid as I wanted it to but all round I’m pretty proud of it. In some ways this was more of a challenge than Dr. B because with Dr. B I had a detailed photograph to work with but with this one I had to screen cap a moment on the music vid so the quality was lessened.
