I love that scene so damn much and it does cheese me off a bit that Dean doesn't reply with reverent silence and sad eyes then a heartfelt apology and gesture of gratitude. I mean i don't really know the situation (seeings as i've only watched a bunch of scenes of dean and cas from the 4th season and nothing else AND I DON'T WANT TO KNOW SO NOBODY FUCKING TELL ME) so maybe dean is well founded in not saying anything but still. i mean c'mon all that MUST deserve thanks. I'll just have to wait to find out. I WANT TO WAIT TO FIND OUT NO-ONE TELL ME ANYTHING!

So this had a serious amount of editing done to it but i'm fairly happy with the end product. It still doesn't quite hit the emotion i wanted it to...i dunno in the original shot Cas has this weird mixture of sadness, hope, expectation and.....this kind of expression of how he feels about Dean. Mine's just lacking that spark.
